Alfred Health Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Alfred Health, an Alexa skill provided by Oseterics (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By enabling or using Alfred Health, you agree to these Terms of Use.

1. About Alfred Health

Alfred Health helps adults set daily medication reminders and record whether a medicine was taken or skipped.

Alfred Health is a routine-tracking tool only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Always follow the directions provided by your healthcare professional and medication label. If you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

2. Eligibility and Account Requirements

To use Alfred Health, you need:

  • An Alexa-enabled device registered to an Amazon account.
  • The Alfred Health skill enabled on that account.
  • Permission to create Alexa reminders if you choose to use the reminder feature.

Alfred Health is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Entering and reviewing medication information and reminder times for accuracy.
  • Confirming whether you took or skipped a medicine.
  • Maintaining access to your Alexa-enabled device and Amazon account.
  • Consulting a healthcare professional about medication questions, changes, side effects, or missed doses.

You must not rely on Alfred Health as your only means of remembering or managing medication.

4. Optional Ring Features

Alfred Health may offer optional Ring camera-related features in the future. These features require your explicit choice to connect a selected camera.

Ring motion information, if enabled, is supplementary context only. It does not confirm that medication was taken and does not replace your own Taken or Skipped decision. Alfred Health does not store Ring video or audio as part of this feature.

5. Privacy

Our collection and use of information are described in the Alfred Health Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue Alfred Health, or any feature, at any time. We do not guarantee that Alfred Health will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every Alexa-enabled device.

You may disable Alfred Health at any time through the Alexa app.

7. Intellectual Property

Alfred Health, including its content, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to Oseterics and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use Alfred Health only for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Alfred Health is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oseterics is not liable for any loss, injury, missed medication, incorrect medication entry, reminder failure, device failure, or other outcome related to your use of or inability to use Alfred Health.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of Alfred Health after an update means that you accept the updated Terms.
